Soccer is such a huge part of life, I played on two indoor teams this year, I played for the school team and I play for the Sylvan Lake Blizzard team. I was assistant captain for my indoor Red Deer United 16-Girls team and I'm also the assistant captain for my Sylvan Lake team. This photo was taken after winning gold in the Sun Breaker Tournament in Lacombe.

Rowing

This is a picture of the Head of Vermilion that I attended in September, I'm the stroke in the boat, the girl in the white shirt. Sadly my quad didn't place very well in this competition.

Freedom Run 5000

This was the shirt from the Freedom Run 5000 that my mom and I participated in, together we raised $100 and I was the second girl to finish the 5km run.

Musical Theater

This year I took the musical theater class and volunteered a lot of my time getting costumes for people and helping to paint the set during the days before the production.

Mothers Day Run 2011

This year along with last year I participated in the Mothers Day Run in Edmonton. Together my mom and I were able to raise $100 for the Strollery Children's Hospital. The event was a lot of fun and it felt great to come out and support my mom on Mothers day. The bottom photo is of me starting to turn the corner and heading to the finish line.
